Grand Palace Located on Na Phra Lan Road near Pramane Ground, the Grand Palace consists of several buildings with highly decorated architectural details. The palace began in 1782 and has been a popular attraction in Bangkok. The Royal Chapel, Wat Phra Kaeo, houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand.
